Enjoy this rich and creamy dessert flavoured with the sweet aroma of cardamom!!!
Serves – 3 or 4
Preparation time – 10 mins
Cooking time – 15 mins
- Vermicelli – 1/4 cup
- Milk – 3 cups
- Sugar – 1/4 cup
- Cashew(Chopped) – 4
- Raisins – 8
- Cardamom Powder – 1/8 tsp or a pinch
- Ghee(Clarified Butter) – 2 tsp
Step 1 : In a wide pan add ghee, ligtly toast the cashews and raisins till they are golden brown.Keep them aside.
Step 2 : Fry the vermicelli stirring continously on low heat till goleden in color.
Step 3 : Add boiled milk, sugar and cook for 10 to 15 min on medium heat stirring in between till the semiya float on the top of the milk mixture and semiya is cooked.
Step 4 : Add cardamom Powder and the roasted nuts and raisins and boil for another 2 min.
Step 5 : Rest the mixture for atleast 10 to 15 min before serving.
Step 6 : Serve it warm or cold.. Enjoy!!!
