Ragi Mudda is a healthy and tasty treat. This is popular in southern India. People usually have tough time in making this Ragi Mudda, but one could definitely make perfect Ragi Mudda after watching this video.

- Finger Millet Flour (Ragi Flour) – 1 1/2 cup
- Cream of Rice – 1/2 cup
- Salt – to taste
- Water – 4 Cups
Heat water in a sauce pan. Add 1 Tbsp Ragi Flour, 1 Tbsp cream of rice, whisk till ragi four is blended well into the water withput any lumps.
Allow the water to come to a rolling boil, meanwhile dry roast ragi flour in a microwave for 1 min, remove and stir the ragi flour after a min, then again microwave for another 30 secs.
Reduce flame to low. Add salt, ragi flour to the water stirring the water continuously to avoid lumps. Use the back of a wooden spatula to break up all the lumps. You should work fast at this stage.
Once done, cover and simmer it coverred for 10 mins.
Shape them into balls when they are still hot dipping your hands into chilled water. Pour hot Sambar and ghee on top and serve immediately.
