These are world wide popular snack and doesn’t need any introduction. Below is the recipe of the instant version of making the potato chips. They are BETTER than the store bought ones.These Potato Chips are very addictive so make in a small batch and enjoy moderately
Serves – 2 to 4
Preparation time: 5 mins
Cooking time – 15 mins
- Russet Potato (peel, wash, slice and put into cold water) – 1 big no
- Salt – to taste
- Water – 2 ltrs
- Oil – for Deep Frying
- Distilled White Vinegar – 2 Tbsp
- Boil water until it reaches rolling boil stage.
- Add in salt, vinegar, potato slices into water and boil till potato slices are just tender.
- Drain the water from potatoes dry them on paper towel or a kitchen napkin to remove excess moisture.
- Heat the oil for deep frying in a deep pan.
- Add in the potato slices and fry in small batches till crispy and golden or until the bubbles disappear while frying.
- Season it if needed, but here are the basic salty and Crispy Potato Chips. Enjoy!
